Hello Friends,

January has been a very eventful month with preparations for recording my upcoming album as well as participating in a blogging contest documenting my chapter by chapter progress in a book called, Music Success in Nine Weeks, by Ariel Hyatt. Come take a look and feel free to join in the discussions at mindygledhill.blogspot.com.

In addition to getting ready to record my new album, I've had the opportunity to record songs on some really exciting projects. One of the most fun recordings I have EVER done is a song called "Ooh la-la-de-da" written by highly acclaimed violinist, Aaron Ashton, on his brand new solo debut album "Split the Difference." You can listen to a clip here. Warning: this song will make you feel like dancing like a crazy person at a sidewalk cafe in Paris. Speaking of dancing, I will be featured on two tracks for the upcoming Kaskade album, produced by the Grammy nominated, Finn Bjarnson. If you like electronica/techno music, you're going to love these songs. To get a little taste of Kaskade, click here.

In my spare time (ha!), I go to school and study sound recording technology. I'm proud to say that I just got my first ProTools rig in the mail this week. Yay!

Thank you for all your emails and words of encouragement. Check back soon for more details on my upcoming album!

Peace,

Mindy Gledhill
